VCK leader Thol. Thirumavalavan on Thursday urged the State Government to take action against those involved in the attack on protesters at Thoothukudi last week.

Addressing media persons, he said the right wing elements have been having a free run in the State and attacking Dalits and other backward classes. “The Government should release Velmurugan and withdraw all cases registered against him. He and his followers have been booked for raising his voice against the Central and State Governments,” Thirumavalavan said.
