TNAU plans butterfly park after success of one on insects

Coimbatore : Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) proposes to establish a butterfly park in its botanical garden in the near future, according to Vice-Chancellor N Kumar.

At the Indian postal circle cultural meet held yesterday at the University, Kumar said the insect museum on the campus, the country’s first, had received wide public acceptance.

It was now planned to establish a butterfly park in the botanical garden, a TNAU statement quoting Kumar said on Wednesday, .
