District police invites application for post of legal advisor

Applications have been sought from advocates fulfilling eligibility conditions to serve as legal advisor to the Superintendent of Police (SP), Coimbatore District.
The mandate of the legal advisor would be to assist the SP in all legal aspects in cases pertaining to crime and administration. The post involves a consolidated monthly payment of Rs.20,000 and intending advocates could submit applications at the District Police Office before November 30, an official release said.
Eligibility conditions will be completion of graduation and Bachelor of Law or Integrated Law Course, enrolment in Bar Council and five years of experience in District Court or High Court of Administrative Tribunal the applicant should not have any record of handling criminal cases in the past.
