Aram Foundation in association with Coimbatore Corporation has launched “Vetri Padi” project to help students score good marks in their Class X exams.

This project was launched at Corporation Higher Secondary School Selvapuram. in the presence of Dr. K. Vijayakarthikeyan, Corporation Commissioner, and R. Ravi, Corporation Education Officer.

A release from the organization stated that this project will offer support to students and help them score good marks in their Standard X board exams. Students will be coached in Maths, English and Tamil subjects. At the schools in which this project has been implemented, teachers will be given hands-on training to take advantage of modern teaching techniques like smart class, audio and video presentation to teach the subjects.

The after school programme of this project will enable students go through the lessons that were taught during school hours.

Experts will offer students, tips to improve handwriting and presentation skills, which can help students score better marks. Students who require counselling will be offered the same. A motivational speaker will deliver a talk on how the students can face their board exam without fear.

To begin with, this project will be implemented in 10 schools and will cover around 300 students. It will be executed by a panel of educationalists, which includes the Corporation Commissioner, Chief Educational Officer, Aram’s Managing Trustee Latha Sundaram, overseas counsellor, psychological counsellor, team from Smart Learners Academy, and retired Government officials among experts.
