Man found dead under mysterious circumstances

A man from Sulur was found dead in the farmland under mysterious circumstances.

Ranganathan, 42, from Sulur was a coolie worker. He was married and had two daughters.

According to the sources, at around 6.30 AM on November 23, he had gone to his neighbour Kandasamy Gounder’s farm to attend nature’s call and to gather mushrooms. He did not return for a long time.

When relatives and neighbours began searching for him, they recovered his lifeless body from the farm. There were no external injuries on the body. Ranganathan, was a known alcoholic and a chain smoker.
