Sharp rise in daily Covid count

Udhagamandalam: From being appreciably low for the past few days the daily Covid count in the Nilgiris jumped to 81 on Tuesday. With this the total number of cases moved up to 6490.
However there was no change in the number of deaths.
While 6156 have been discharged,296 are undergoing treatment.
