Flying Squad seizes Rs.1.65 lakhs

Coimbatore: A Flying Squad ensuring compliance with the Model.Code of Conduct relating to the ensuing Urban Local Body election carried out a vehicle check in the Nallampalayam area of Coimbatore falling under Northern Zone Ward No.18 A sum of Rs. 1.65,400 which was being transported without any proper documents was seized.
The money was hanned over to the treasury authorities concerned.
