Coimbatore Corporation Contractors Welfare Association Raises Concerns Over Coimbatore Corporation’s Tender Process

Coimbatore, FEB 14: Coimbatore Corporation Contractors Welfare Association (CCCA) has raised Concerns over Coimbatore Corporation’s Tender Process and expressing grievances regarding the handling of tender applications.
KCP Chandraprakash, the Secretary of the CCCA and Managing Director of KCP INFRA, highlighted the issue, stating that complaints have arisen regarding the pending status of tender applications submitted by certain contractors of the Coimbatore Corporation.
The CCCA Association has called upon contractors, who have experienced delays or discrepancies in the tender process to provide detailed information regarding the date of tender issuance, the nature of the work involved (such as road construction or drainage), and the timeline for their tender submissions. Contractors are requested to furnish these specifics within a week to the CCCA Association.
The complaints have been formally lodged with the Corporation Commissioner, Municipal Administrative Commissioner, and Municipal Secretary on behalf of the association, seeking prompt resolution to the matter.
Emphasizing unity among contractors, KCP Chandraprakash reiterated that individual complaints need not be filed separately, as the Coimbatore Corporation Contractors Welfare Association is prepared to aggregate and address these concerns collectively. The CCCA Association pledges full support and assistance to all contractors encountering issues with the tender process.
Chandra Prakash, Managing Director of KCP INFRA, reaffirmed the Association’s commitment to offering necessary aid, assuring contractors that the Association stands ready to intervene and facilitate resolution of their grievances.
