Swarga Foundation’s social enterprise, Swag Café, has officially relocated to a brand-new, fully accessible location within Brookefields Mall, Coimbatore.

This is a massive step forward in promoting inclusive livelihoods for persons with disabilities (PwDs).
Empowering Seven Lives
Swag Café is much more than a coffee shop. It’s an engine for empowerment, providing meaningful employment to seven PwDs facing challenges like autism, low vision, intellectual disabilities, and mobility impairments.

The staff are fully trained professionals, handling everything from food prep and customer service to billing and stock management. They are proving every day that capability, not disability, defines a successful team.

The café currently supports six families and serves over 200 customers daily with high-quality, affordable refreshments.

Accessibility First at Brookefields
The move to the Lower Ground Floor of Brookefields Mall is strategic. The new space is completely accessible, aligning perfectly with Swarga Foundation’s mission for universal design. This decision reinforces the crucial message that commercial spaces must be inclusive.

Swarga Foundation, established in 2014, has already positively impacted over 10 crore people through various initiatives in accessibility, awareness, and rehabilitation nationwide.

The inauguration was a success, highlighting the initiative’s importance to the wider community. It was attended by the CSR Head of Bosch, Coimbatore, and Balagopal, Managing Trustee of Balagopal Foundation, underscoring strong corporate and philanthropic support.
