LEAD Group, India’s leading School Learning Systems company, today successfully concluded the Coimbatore Regional Round of National Championships 2025, LEAD’s flagship platform that helps students from India’s small towns and emerging cities step onto a big stage with big confidence. The event brought together an energetic audience of 1200 students, teachers, school leaders and parents from LEAD-powered schools across Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka. This marked the 7th edition of the National Championships by LEAD Group.

This year, the Regional Rounds brings the National Championships closer to students’ own cities – so more children get the kind of exposure that helps them gain lasting confidence for 21st century careers. With participants ranging from Nursery to Grade 9, many students experienced their first-ever on-stage moment: presenting, performing, solving, building, and speaking up in front of a live audience.

Sumeet Mehta, CEO & Co-Founder, LEAD Group, said,

“One of the biggest gaps we see in school education today is not ability, but confidence. Many students understand concepts well, but rarely get the opportunity to present their thinking, speak up, or perform on a larger stage. National Championships was created to solve exactly this – by giving students a national platform where learning meets confidence, and preparation meets real-world exposure. At the Coimbatore regional round of National Championships 2025, we saw students step forward with clarity, courage and pride, reinforcing our belief that when children are given the right stage, they rise to it.“

The Regional Rounds brings the 2025 championship closer to students’ hometowns and cities. The event offered many students their first opportunity to showcase their talent and skills before a large audience, making it a meaningful step in building confidence ahead of the Grand Finale.
