India Yamaha Motor (IYM) Pvt. Ltd. successfully hosted an exhilarating Track Day experience for its customers at the CoASTT High Performance Centre in Coimbatore, bringing together motorcycle enthusiasts for a day filled with speed, skill and camaraderie.

Organized as part of Yamaha’s flagship “The Call of The Blue” campaign, the event attracted more than 200 Yamaha owners and recorded an overall footfall of nearly 500 visitors, making it one of the brand’s most engaging customer experiences in the region.

The event featured riders of Yamaha’s popular R15, MT-15 and XSR155 models, offering them a unique opportunity to experience the thrill of riding on a professional racetrack in a safe and controlled environment. Participants underwent comprehensive pre-ride training sessions covering racing lines, body positioning, lean angles, throttle control and braking techniques, helping them gain confidence and improve their riding skills.

Adding to the vibrant atmosphere were Yamaha merchandise displays, accessories showcases and dedicated photo zones that allowed riders and visitors to capture memorable moments from the event.
A major highlight of the Track Day was the arrival of participants from Yamaha’s nationwide ‘Xplore India on XSR’ campaign. The riders reached Coimbatore after successfully completing an extraordinary 6,000-kilometre expedition across India.

The journey commenced from Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, on June 2, 2026, and covered several iconic destinations including Delhi, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Goa and Kanyakumari before concluding in Tamil Nadu. The riders were warmly welcomed by Yamaha customers, enthusiasts and dealership partners, marking the successful completion of the 21-day adventure.

Conceptualized as a symbolic ride from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, the initiative celebrates India’s cultural diversity while highlighting the unifying spirit of motorcycling. The expedition showcased the capabilities of Yamaha’s modern-retro sport motorcycle, the XSR155, blending classic styling with contemporary performance.

Through initiatives such as Track Day and Xplore India on XSR, Yamaha continues to strengthen its image as a performance-oriented brand with a rich racing heritage while fostering a strong rider community. These efforts also contribute to the growth of Yamaha’s Blue Streaks Community, bringing together riders from different regions and backgrounds through a shared passion for motorcycling and adventure.
