Drunkard arrested for creating ruckus

A thirty-seven-year-old man, who created ruckus on the road abusing people in a drunkard mood, was arrested by the M.L. Puram police in Pollachi here on Saturday.
According to police, the S. Thiyagarajan from Cheran Nagar was reportedly abusing people near the Cheran Nagar Bus Stop on the Coimbatore Pollachi Main Road. Despite the fact that people were trying to avoid him, Thiyagarajan continued to abuse passersby in a filthy language and started harassing everyone on the road.
Based on a tip-off from the public, the M.L. Puram Police who arrived at the scene, detained Thiyagarajan on preventive measures, arrested him and booked him under Section 107 IPC.
