Special trains to clear Onam rush

Southern Railways’ Palakkad Division has announced two special trains to clear the extra rush of passengers this Onam. Both the trains will stop at the Coimbatore Junction.

A press release from Southern Railways Palakkad Division said that Train No.06527 Yesvantpur-Kannur Special Fare Special will depart from Yesvantpur at 1850 hours on September 13 and touch Banaswadi, Carmelaram, Dharmapuri, Salem, Erode, Tirupur, Coimbatore, Palakkad, Shoranur, Kuttipuram, Tirur, Kozhikode, Quilandi, Vadakara, and reach Thalassery the following morning.

Train No.06528 Kannur-Hubballi Special Fare Special will leave Kannur at 1910 hours on September 14 (Wednesday) and reach destination Hubballi at 1900 hours on September 15 (Thursday).

The special trains will have 13 sleeper class coaches, six unreserved coaches, and two luggage-cum-brake vans.
