Coimbatore : The ruling AIADMK will form an alliance once the election dates were announced, Tamil Nadu Milk and Dairy Development Minister K T Rajendra Balaji said Sunday.

The moment the election dates were announced, the party will form the alliance and Chief Minister, Edapadi Palanisamy is evolving the strategy for it, Balaji told reporters here.

Stating that AIADMK-alliance will be the winning combination, he said that the opposition parties out of fear were busy forming the front now itself.

To a question on Sterlite, he said that there was no chance of reopening the factory and the Chief Minister had already made the Government’s stand clear on the issue.

He also ruled out any irregularities in distributing compensation to the Gaja cyclone victims and power has been restored in 90 per cent of the areas.
