Students from Amrita School of Engineering,Coimbatore, have delivered outstanding performances at two premier competitions, FMAE Moto Student India 2024 and SUPRA SAEINDIA 2024, showcasing their exceptional engineering prowess and innovation through the Moto Amrita and Team Amrita Racing teams.
Moto Amrita Wins at FMAE Moto Student India 2024
Moto Amrita,a team of students passionate about motorcycle design and racing, made headlines at the FMAE Moto Student India 2024 competition. Building on their previous success of placing second in the 2023 EV category, the team returned stronger and claimed first place in both the Electric Vehicle (EV) and Internal Combustion Vehicle (ICV) categories.
The team’s well-rounded performance earned them additional honors, including:
* First place in Autocross (ICV)
* Second place in Design, Brakes Test, and Endurance (ICV)
* First place in Design and Cost Evaluation (EV)
Team Amrita Racing Leads Innovation at SUPRA SAEINDIA 2024
At SUPRA SAEINDIA 2024, held at Buddh International Circuit, Greater Noida, Team Amrita Racing marked a milestone by excelling in the new Electric Vehicle category. The team,known for transitioning from combustion to electric vehicles, secured the top spot in the overall static events.Their innovative design included a custom battery pack and unique components that underscored their commitment to sustainable engineering.
