The Quality Assurance Conclave of Maintenance Command, Indian Air Force was held today at Base Repair Depot, Air Force, Sulur on the outskirts.
Topics such as Six Sigma, BIS accreditation, Quality Assurance. Effectiveness of quality Assurance in production, supply chain management and preservation, inspection and packing at Equipment Depots was the focus of the conclave, which was attended by about 100 Air Warriors.
It provided a common platform for Quality assurance representatives from the field to interact among themselves and Command staff, a release said here.
Air Marshal Pankaj Aneja, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Maintenance Command inaugurated the conclave, which was also attended by Deputy Senior Maintenance Staff Officer, Maintenance Command, Air Officer Commanding and Chief Quality Officers of all Base Repair Depots and Equipment Depots attended the conclave.
