Anti-Corruption Movement gives blankets to tribals in Coimbatore

The Anti-Corruption Movement distributed blankets, bedsheets and caps to tribespeople in remote hamlets in the district.

Earlier, members of the movement approached Coimbatore Superintendent of Police, R Pandiarajan seeking assistance to identify the remotest tribal hamlets in the district.

A team led by Sub-Inspector Kannanand Madasamy accompanied the movement team headed by Coimbatore chapter president Durai Kumara Velu to the hamlets of Kadamankombai, Sundapatti, Veppamarathur, Keelkuravankandi, Melkurvankandi, Sorandi, Anthikadavu,Keelpillur around Pillu Dam on November 28. They distributed around 200 sets to people.
