Advising students to be more focused in their goals and dreams, AM Rao, vice-president of HR at Venture Engineering emphasised that only focus and hard work could turn dreams into reality and bring success.

Addressing students at the inauguration of Techbash-16, a national level technical symposium at the Sri Sakthi Engineering College here today, Rao said that students should make use of the opportunities they get in life.

Technical symposiums were important, he noted, in making students more innovative and helping them think out of the box. “These also give students practical knowledge in the respective fields,” he said.

Emphasising the importance of ability to learn and work, Isaac Patturaja HR manager of Sanmina Corporation, Chennai, said that students should develop a positive attitude. “They should have a mixture of positive thinking along with good communication skills to reach greater heights,” he said.

The event featured paper presentation, project presentation, technical quiz, robot race and more.
