Bear attacks man

A 35-year-old man was attacked by a bear in the reserve forest at the Bolampatti forest range in Coimbatore today.
According to sources, N. Murugesh from Javakadu Revenue Settlement was in the Poondi Central Beat in Narasipuram when a bear suddenly pounced and attacked him around 4 p.m. He suffered deep injuries.
Murugesh was rushed to the Coimbatore Medical College Hospital (CMCH) for treatment.
