Kottayam: A 11-year old school girl succumbed to her injuries allegedly inflicted by her teachers for not answering questions in a proper way during an examination.

Ayisha Mehnas from Kasargod was a student of Class six in Manimunda Education Society, Uppala. She is the daughter of Abdul Khader and Mehrunisa of Manimunda.

She was allegedly beaten by teachers for not answering question and instead writing some questions that appeared in the question paper recently.

The student who became unconscious was taken to the hospital by other teachers. She was later shifted to a hospital in Mangalore after her condition worsened. She recovered and was discharged. But she turned sick after reaching home and died on Tuesday.
