Collector, COP inspect job fair ground

District Collector Archana Patnaik and Commissioner of Police A Amalraj inspected the Sri Krishna College Engineering grounds where the government job fair for private sectors is to be conducted in January here.

Inspecting the place, Collector gave directions to the organizers about getting the sign boards ready, ensuring sanitary facilities, drinking water tanks, putting in place garbage bins, engaging security guards and ensuring proper seating facilities.

She also gave directions to the police department to clear traffic in the area when there could be congestion and also to deploy adequate police personnel so as to avoid untoward incidents.

In order to help the candidates, there would also be volunteers who would guide the candidates to the respective stalls. a release from the district administration said.

She further advised that adequate safety measures including first aid kits and ambulance should be deployed during the job fair. Information on the fair will be available at the District Collectorate.
