College students attempt to create Guinness record

Around 3000 students of the Karpagam Engineering College would attempt to create a Guinness Record today at the college campus by creating an image of a guitar individually along with the message ‘Yes We Can’.
According to a press release from the college, the event, held to commemorate Engineers Day, has been organised by the Karpagam Innovation Centre.
Last year on the same occasion, around 2,500 students created an Android application each within 30 minutes. In all 2,500 Android applications were created. This attempt was recorded in the Limca Book of Records too. Participants were awarded a certificate.
