DK treasurer Selvi dies in accident near Coonoor

Ooty : Dravidar Kazhakam (DK) treasurer Pirainudal Selvi died in a road accident near Coonoor on Tuesday.
Selvi, along with her husband was on way to Coimbatore when a car from the opposite direction hit her vehicle near Katteri, some 25 km from here, in the evening
She was admitted to a private hospital where she succumbed to her injuries after some time, police said.
Selvi (72) leaves her husband Dr Gauthaman, a son and a daughter. DK senior functionaries are expected to reach here tomorrow, party leaders said.
