DMK men stage demo

Nearly 1,000 DMK workers staged a demonstration here today protesting against the reported administrative lapse in the functioning of the City Corporation.
Former minister Pongalur N. Palanisamy, DMK Coimbatore unit secretaries Muthusamy and Nachimuthu addressed the protesters.
They alleged that the Corporation has failed to provide basic amenities to the people of the city. “There has been a delay in implementing various developmental projects, due to people are suffering without drinking water and the roads are also in bad condition,” they said.
