Facilities for differently abled being improved at Coimbatore Junction

Coimbatore : As part of station improvement works at Coimbatore Junction, the Salem Division of Southern Railway has also taken up the betterment of facilities for the divyangjan (differently abled) passengers.
Already many divyangjan-friendly features have been introduced such as toilets and ramps at the entrance. Along with the improvement of parking space in front of the station, parking space, earmarked only on the one side near the entrance, is now being provided on both sides of the parking slots for the differently abled.

In addition, in the 4-wheeler parking area also, one bay is being earmarked for parking of their vehicles very near to the main entrances.
The marking of the parking space will be displayed once the ongoing works were complete.
