‘Food Tech Hackathon 2024’ competition for engineering college students organized by Cookr

Cookr Company is operating in seven districts in Tamil Nadu. In Coimbatore, Cookr Company has been operating with excellence for two years. The company is planning to open new branches in Bangalore and Hyderabad. Cookr Company operates as a food delivery platform. As opposed to hotel and restaurant food distribution, the company operates as a home-cooking food delivery company.

Also, to solve the challenges and problems that may arise in food supply, the program ‘Food Tech Hackathon 2024’ is being organized for the students of Engineering College, Coimbatore. As a part of this, Food Tech Hackathon was held at Government Engineering College, Tadagam Road, Coimbatore on Thursday morning. At its launch, Cookr Co-founder and CEO Prabha Santhanakrishnan, co-founders Nirmalkumar and Saravanakumar Kandasamy inaugurated the event.

60 students out of 200 students were selected in the ‘Food Tech Hackathon’ competition in Government Engineering College. Prizes were awarded to the top 5 winning teams. At the end of the hackathon, the three winning teams were awarded a prize worth Rs 50,000 by Cooker.

Ramanathan, Software Development Vice President of Cooker Company said that Cookr Company is distributing food to the public in a new way that can be cooked at home. And to face these problems and challenges, a hackathon program was organized for engineering students. Prizes worth Rs 50,000 were also given to the winning students. The competition will enable students to face the challenges of technology in practice. And job opportunities for talented students.
