City-based WHC-Rao Hospital Fertility Centre, Vadavalli, organised a free infertility health camp for women recently.

Preliminary examinations such as blood sugar, hemoglobin count and ultra sound scans were done on women who attended the camp. Post-investigations, patients had the opportunity to consult with senior infertility specialist and gynecologists at the centre.

“We are happy with the success of this camp. Dr. Rajini and I wanted to offer world-class infertility and gynecology treatments at subsidised rates to the under-privileged. We look forward to holding more such camps in the future,” Dr. Damodar Rao, associate director and infertility specialist at Rao Hospital, said.

In his speech, Dr. Rajini said, “We have had an impressive success rate of treating people since the inception in March. By conducting this camp, we have had an opportunity to provide excellent services to patients who have been deprived of such treatments.”

This fertility centre opened in March this year. People from areas like Veerkeralam, Chinnathadagam, Kalveerapalayam, Maruthamalai, Thadagam, Thondamuthur and Vadavalli come to the centre fr treatment. This centre offers expert advice and low-cost infertility packages.
