Freemasons to hold mini-marathon in Coimbatore on June 24

Coimbatore: Freemasons is organising a mini-marathon on June 24, World Brotherhood Day, at Masonic Hospital in the city.

A 4-km run has been planned, starting at 6 am from the hospital premises. It would pass through Big Bazar, Thomas Park via Nirmala College and Race Course to finish at the starting point.

Freemasons member A Shajahan told The Covai Post that true progress could be achieved only when people reached out to one another to assist and contribute in time of distress. The organisation was giving an insight of charitable activities to the members.

Registration fee for the marathon is Rs 100 and forms can be downloaded at www.facebook.com/ubdjune24/
