Gem Hospital Chairman Launches Book Covering All Fundamental Nursing Procedures

Dr.C.Palanivelu,the Chairman of Gem Hospital released a new textbook titled ‘Combined Clinical Nursing Skills Manual including OSCE’, that covers all the fundamental nursing procedures (in all subjects) as per INC syllabus. It comes in 2 volumes.
The first volume, authored by Dr.Lizzie Raveendran, Principal and Dr.Deborah Packiajothi, Vice Principal, Gem Institute of Nursing Education & Research, contains all the main clinical procedures for 6 major subjects in Nursing, while the second volume, authored by Dr.Manjula, Former faculty and Prof.Anees, Government Nursing College, Thiruvananthapuram, comprises of OSCE checklists pr all the procedures and the possible viva voce questions that will be useful to the students to prepare for the practical exams.
More than 20 faculty members served as contributors. This book will not only be useful to the Indian students pursuing nursing but to the whole global student community. The book will be made available in both print and as an E-Book.
Dr.C.Palanivelu appreciated the authors and the contributors behind this book. He recommended them to update the book once in every 2-3 years, and release the new editions along with its digital version.
