World Charity Day was marked with a noble gesture by GRG Modern Scholars, whose management,principal, staff and students joined hands to donate books and help set up a library at the Corporation Primary and Higher Secondary School, Kovil Medu.

This is not a one-time effort. The school has announced that the book-donation drive will continue through the year, encouraging students, parents, teachers and well-wishers to contribute more volumes and help the young learners develop a love for reading.

Speaking on the occasion, school representatives said that Cambridge School places strong emphasis on charity-based projects to nurture compassion, a spirit of giving and social responsibility among students from an early age.

Special thanks were extended to Headmistress Mr.Venukaameiyanban, the staff and students of the Corporation school for their warm collaboration. The management also appreciated the generous support of parents, educators and learners of GRG Modern Scholars, and acknowledged the continuous encouragement given by the school’s management in promoting meaningful charitable initiatives.

The event served as an inspiration on World Charity Day, reminding everyone to “give a little more, help a little more, and make a lasting difference in the lives of others.”
