Chennai: Superstar Rajinikanth is for sure entering politics and in all probability launch a new political party six months from now. According to sources close to the actor, he has been discussing his political move with his close friends from the fraternity as also his Bangalore based brother.

In all probability, Rajinikanth who has kept Tamil Nadu and his fans in suspense over his entry into politics for over two decades now, will launch his political party on his birthday on December 12.

“This time he is definitely entering politics and with his own party,” said a senior journalist who recently interacted with the superstar. The BJP, which is trying to gain a foothold in Tamil Nadu politics, is expected to extend its support to the superstar and in fact has been inviting him to join the party.

Even on Saturday, union minister of state Pon Radhakrishnan said Rajinikanth was welcome to join the BJP. Sources close to the star, have however felt that he may eventually float his own party rather than join an existing party and be weighed down with any baggage.

Recently, last month when Rajinikanth met his fans, he made his intention to join politics very clear. If the Lord wants, I will come to politics,” he said addressing his fans.

Rajinikanth is at present shooting for movie ‘Kaala’ and during the free time he is said to be discussing politics with those he meets. There is a huge fan base of Rajinikanth that is global and his fan clubs are only waiting for the word to go to town.

For the present, the fan clubs have been directed to stay silent and not speak anything about the Boss’s political plunge. One of his friends in the film fraternity felt that this time around, Rajinikanth appeared to be serious about politics.
