Kumaraguru College of Technology will host the 24th session of the Indian Art History Congress (IAHC), from November 21, as part of the World Heritage Week. About 70 scholars from all over India will showcase their research in tribal art and culture.
The meet is being jointly organised by the KCT, the local chapter of INTACH, and the IAHC. This time, the theme will be “Dimensions of Tribal and Folk Art of India, Past and Present.” There will also be academic discussions covering seven different topics.
According to a press release from the college, former RBI Governor Dr. C. Rangarajan will be the chief guest and will release the IAHC publications, while president, Dastkari Haat Samity and Jaya Jaitley will inaugurate the conference.
