KMCH Sulur Multispecialty Hospital Hosted World Health Day Awareness Event

In a concerted effort to promote community wellness and preventive healthcare, KMCH Sulur Multispecialty Hospital organized a comprehensive awareness program to mark World Health Day yesterday at Jansons Institute of Technology, Karumathapatti.

The event, which commenced at 9:30 AM, brought together students, faculty, and medical professionals to reflect on this year’s global health priorities.

In a message released for the occasion, Dr. Nalla G. Palaniswami, Chairman & Managing Director of KMCH, emphasized the hospital’s dedication to public welfare. "World Health Day serves as a critical reminder that healthcare must extend beyond the walls of a hospital. By engaging with students we aim to build a foundation of wellness that will sustain the community for years to come," stated Dr. Nalla G. Palaniswami.

The proceedings began with the official inauguration of a Signature Campaign by Dr. Arun Palaniswami, Executive Director, KMCH. While signing the pledge wall, he emphasized the importance of individual accountability innmaintaining public health standards and encouraged the youth to act as ambassadors for healthy living.

A key highlight of the morning was an insightful awareness lecture delivered by Dr. Manoj, a specialist in General Medicine from KMCH. Dr. Manoj addressed the gathering on the rising prevalence of lifestyle-related ailments and the critical role of early detection.

The campaign saw enthusiastic participation from hundreds of students who pledged their commitment to better lifestyle choices. The event successfully brought together medical expertise and the academic community at Johnson’s Engineering College to mark the global health milestone.
