Lions Club to conduct one-week training for teachers

The Lions Clubs District 324 B5 has organised a Lion Quest Week from December 22 to train teachers in various activities in order to make them role models of Children’s behaviour.

“Five schools have been selected for the program and 30 teachers from each school will be trained for three days by experts from various parts of India. Training will be given in all the languages and books on various subjects will be provided to the teachers. The program will conclude on December 30,” Lions District Governor, T.S. Vijayakumar said.

After the training every teacher will conduct class to 35 students for one hour on one day-one week basis. “The students will be provided books by the Lions Club International,” District Chairman for Media, S. Prabhakaran said.
“Around 350 teachers have been trained so far,” Prabhakaran said.
