A 23-year old man was found lying with multiple stab injuries in a bushy area in Sulur today.

Passersby noticed that the youth, Parthiban, a plumber by profession, was lying, bleeding profusely, in Kannampalayam. They informed the police, who rushed to the spot and took him to the Government hospital here.

He was hospitalised and is said to be recovering, according to the police.

Though the reason for the incident was not immediately known, police suspect that it could have a possible link with a girl, who Parthiban had been allegedly troubling with numerous missed calls for the last few days, they said.

Further investigations are on.
