Miscreants break open house, decamp with valuables

A Pulsar bike, 3 sovereigns of gold ornaments, silver material and 5 silk sarees were stolen from a locked house in Onnipalyam near Periyanaickenpalayam in Coimbatore district on Monday.

Jeyakumar, 48, who runs a packaging industry at his residence, had gone with family to attend a marriage ceremony. On his return, he noticed the front door open and found the valuables missing, rural police said.
Based on the complaint, police filed a complaint and investigation is going on.

People in the area claimed that three to four burglary incidents are reported every month and want more police patrol.

Police said all efforts were being taken to nab the culprits and sought the cooperation of the people for this.
