Pickpocket nabbed red-handed

A 35-year-old man who attempted to pick the pocket of a man at Dr. Nanjappa Road was arrested on Saturday.

According to sources, the intended victim E. Aruldas (42), a resident of Shasthri Nagar near Sathy Road, was standing in front of a hotel near Dr. Nanjappa Road. Around 1.30 PM, the culprit, N. Dhandapani from Saibaba Colony, attempted to steal Rs.1900 from Aruldas’ shirt pocket.

But, Dhandapani was caught red-handed and handed over to the Kattoor police.
