Coimbatore : PSG College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore, has taken a significant step in enhancing the global employability of its students by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Japan’s NexGen and i-Tokyo Academy. This collaboration is designed to provide students with advanced IT training, international internships, and educational opportunities in Japan, setting a new benchmark in cross-border academic cooperation.

The MoU was officially signed by PSG College of Arts and Science Principal Dr. D. Brindha and NexGen CEO and Director Kumar Palanisamy in the presence of College Secretary Dr. T. Kannaian, Vice Principal Dr. P. Umarani, and Head of the Department of Computer Science Dr. S. Selvi. The agreement aims to equip students from various computer-related fields with cutting-edge skills through state-of-the-art IT seminars and workshops, thereby boosting their readiness for the global job market.

A central feature of this partnership is the opportunity for PSG students to receive training that meets international standards, particularly focusing Japan’s IT sector. The MoU also opens the door for higher education in prestigious Japanese universities along with scholarship. Additionally, as part of this initiative, students will receive Japanese language training, further enhancing their prospects for employment in Japan’s rapidly growing IT and manufacturing industries.
PSG College of Arts and Science Principal Dr. D. Brindha emphasized the importance of this collaboration, stating, “This agreement not only enhances the quality of education and training for our students but also provides them with direct access to international job markets, ensuring they are well-prepared for a successful career after graduation.”

The MoU is a strategic move by PSG College of Arts and Science, NexGen, and i-Tokyo Academy to develop the next generation of IT professionals from PSG CAS, offering global internships, advanced skills development, and comprehensive career placement assistance.
