PSG College pact for data analytics

A memorandum of understanding was signed between PSG College of Technology and Probyto, a data science company. Under this agreement

Based on the memorandum, PSG will work with Probyto to promote research-driven development of data applications. Researchers and students of the departments of applied mathematics and computational science will be the main beneficiaries.

Data analytics on material from Probyto will be done by professors and students of the department and the results will be used by the company to further promotion and sales of their products. Professors will be consultant analysts.

PSG has an MSc Data Science integrated five-year programme. “The third year students will benefit greatly from the MoU,” said Prof Karthik R, one of the founders and director of Probyto and alumnus of the department.

The company will also offer internships to students. The MoU was signed by Principal Dr Rudramurthy Nd Probyto Founder and Director Abhisek Singh.
