Ramkumar will be handed over to police in two days

P Ramkumar, the prime suspect in the murder of Chennai techie Swathi, is reported to be stable in the intensive care unit of the Tirunelveli Medical College hospital, after he slit his throat with a sharp object in an attempt to kill himself when the police closed in on him.

According to hospital sources Ramkumar will be in the hospital for the next two days and then will be handed over to the police.

With 18 stitches to his throat, it is reported that he would find it difficult to speak till his injury is healed.

Ramkumar was admitted to the hospital on Saturday, taken to the emergency ward and was operated on.
