Kutti Roadies is a fun Cycling event for kids to be held in Coimbatore where children would gather and pedal it out with their friends.
The Kutti Roadies cycling event theme is that each child will Pedal for a cause- “Freedom Through Education”; a long-term project of RTI where we are building one class room per day across India for the underprivileged children of our society.
According to Tr.Naveen, Chair, Coimbatore United Round Table (CURT) 186 of the Kutti Roadies cycling event, will be held as a part of Coimbatore Vizha 2024 this year. He highlighted that the fun cycling and Road safety awareness event for Kids will be held on 1st December 2024 @ 6 am to 11 am at Codissia Complex, D Hall Parking, Avinashi Road.
Each participant will get a Helmet, T-shirt, a Medal and a Certificate followed by the breakfast for the participants and Lucky draw surprises. The team encourages the children to come and join us for a morning filled with lots of fun and take away medals as every kid is a born winner. Children aged 6 to 15 can participate by registering online at www.kuttiroadies.com. The registration fee is Rs. 799.
With the support of the Indian Army, CURT 186 is building a classroom and a toilet block in a government school in Kargil, Kashmir. It is also building another classroom and a toilet block in a government school in Kanyakumari. The funds raised through this Kutti Roadies event will be entirely used to support this noble initiative.
The event will commence with a fun warm up session with music and then will focus on giving the kids an experience to ride in a group and also to educate them about the road safety and Traffic rules. Road accidents have become very common due to the vehicle collisions and ignorance of proper road safety measures. Through this event we want the kids to understand road safety and to follow all the traffic rules and regulations. CURT186 members present at the announcement included Naveen, Karan, Ashvin Kumar, Balaji, Gowtham, Nihal, Vignesh and Arun, Praveen Edward.
