Rs.13.75 crore worth encroached sites retrieved

Corporation officials today retrieved 1.59 acre of reserved sites valued at Rs.13.75 crore from four zones of Corporation limits encroached by private parties.
The majority of the sites were reserved for parks and other community services in Vadavalli, Kalapatti and Saravanapatti areas, an official release said here.
The Corporation has so far retrieved about 29 acre of encroached land worth Rs.300 crore since November last, it said.
