Science fest yatra from Rameswaram on Oct 4

Chennaii: A rally is being organised as a prelude to the third Indian International Science Festival, IISF 2017, here from October 13 to 16.

The festival will be held simultaneously at Chennai IIT, Anna University, TNSCTC, Science City and NOIT. Premier government institutions l, including the Department of Atomic Energy, is participating in the science fest.

The yatra will be flagged off from the Dr A P J Abdul Kalam Memorial in Rameswaram at 10 am on October 4.

Organised by IISF and Vibha with support from DAE, IGCAR and Agastya Foundation, the Yatra aims to create awareness about the festival and also science among all, especially students, according to the organisers.
