Sri Lankan delegates visit KPRIET

G Weeratunga, Executive Council Member, Institute of Personnel Management Sri Lanka (Inc.), and Treasurex Melchior, M.D. of TK Consulting Consortium (Pvt.) Ltd., Sri Lanka, recently visited the KPR Institute of Engineering &Technology (KPRIET). K. Bommannaraja, Principal of KPRIET, received the dignitaries. The guests also interacted with the heads of the college’s various departments.

In a presentation titled ‘The Purpose of Life.’examples of the real-life success stories of American Pop Band One Republic, animation movie ‘Toy Story,’ the iconic brand Apple, and more, were presented.
Also part of his presentation was a clipping from the movie ‘Pirates of Silicon Valley.’ It featured the scene where Bill Gates tells his friend that if people find them useless, they need to create need that only they can deliver which could be found nowhere else. With this note, the team visits the IBM office and proposes for DOS operating system and, the rest is history.

The presentation emphasized on the facts that attitude determines the altitude, and that purpose determines the power. On behalf of team KPRIET, a note of gratitude was accorded to the foreign dignitaries by Thamaraikannan, Placement Director, and Samyukthaa, Head – Training.
