TNAU launches WiFi zone for students

A WiFi zone for the benefit of the students was opened in the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) campus on Thursday.

Free WiFi hot spot offering is within a range of 50 meters and 100 users can avail the facility at a time.

The zone was set up with the financial assistance of Indian Council for Agricultural Research and the students can utilize the facility from their laptops/mobile phones.

Stating that the there is also recharge facility, a release said that the free WiFi access 24×7 will be helpful for students to read e-books, e-journals and other online data bases in their leisure hours as well as out of library hours and holidays.
