Training Programme on “Weather and Climate for Common Man”

Coimbatore : The Agro Climate Research Centre of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) has planed to conduct a training programme on “Introduction to weather and climate from common man’s perspectives” through online mode June 17 to 26.

The weather based agro advisory bulletins have been issued to the farmers by the Centre, so as to enable them for taking appropriate farm decisions.

The weather and climate related information is not only making impact on farmer’s livelihood but also common people like students and other common public.

Hence, it is essential for everyone should know about the basics of weather and climate for every day to day living, a release from Centre said.

In view of this, the Centre has designed the online training programme for duration of 8 days during which three class room hours will be conducted every day (excluding Saturday and Sunday), with a  training fee of Rs.200.

The minimum qualification for enrollment will be + 2 or diploma.

As it is planned to organise training programme for 100 participants priority will be given first come first serve basis. The online classes will be conducted through Google Meet app and hence enrolled participants are requested to subscribe a Gmail account.

The interested candidates are requested to enrol one or before June 15.
