Kiruthika Udhayanidhi has managed to put together a trendsetting flick on the screens this time around. The director has spun a sublime cult movie which breathes fresh life into Tamil cinema.
When it comes to life, sometimes the simplest of ideas can become the best of choices. Digging deep into relationships she has dealt neatly with all the characters in the film. Nothing short of a lesson in the art of human interaction this well crafted drama is a treat to watch.
Though predictable at times like when the heroines flight gets first delayed and then cancelled, only to keep the plot moving on, and subtle indications about the mannerisms of the heroe and his son , and about football being in their blood, and the Mini Cooper that the heroe drives becoming a character by itself in the movie, these nuances have been handled with finesse. But wait a minute—have we not watched this all before in Bagyaraj and Bharathiraja movies? Yes for sure but this time told and shown in a different way.
Special credits are due to ARR
For the wonderful songs and BGM .Gavemic U.Ary has captured the director’s thinking beautifully in his camera. Nithya menon’s spontaneous acting and Ravi Mohan’s reactions are definitely to be mentioned. Yogi Babu is much more refreshing this time with his one liners.
This new age Balachander plot is definitely going to make heads turn and be the talk of the town.
