Ajith and Sivakarthikeyan have one thing in common. They do not come from a film background but worked their way up to become stars in Kollywood. Today, they have a loyal fan base across the world.

We all know that Sivakarthikeyan was a standup comedian-turned-actor. But, Siva has shared screen space with Ajith before he ventured into television and films. According to still photographer Chitrarasu, Siva and Ajith have acted together in Aegan, which is based on Shah Rukh Khan’s Main Hoon Na.

Aegan, directed by choreographer Raju Sundaram, had Ajith and Nayanthara playing the lead roles. The film, which released in 2008, failed to make an impact at the box office.

Chitrarasu, a close friend of Ajith and a still photographer, in an interview to a movie portal, revealed about the scene featuring Ajith and Siva, which didn’t make the final cut.

He said, “I don’t know if Ajith or Sivakarthikeyan would remember this scene now. We shot a sequence in Rajahmundry and it was a comedy scene featuring the two actors. Both of them did this scene together and then there was a small break in the schedule. Siva wouldn’t have thought he would rise to this position when we shot the scene a few years ago. His growth is massive and he is now a big star.”

While Ajith is awaiting the release of Siruthai Siva’s Viswasam, Sivakarthikeyan is currently in Dubai shooting for his upcoming film with Nayanthara, directed by SMS Rajesh.
