New Delhi: Urvashi Rautela-starrer Hate Story IV, that saw an opening of Rs 3.76 crore, saw a decent growth at the Box Office on the second day of its release. The erotic-thriller raked in Rs 4.19 crore on Saturday and now stands with the net collection of Rs 7.95 crore.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the business report of the film on his social media page. “#HateStory4 witnesses DECENT GROWTH on Day 2..Fri 3.76 cr, Sat 4.19 cr. Total: ₹ 7.95 cr. India biz… #HateStoryIV,” he wrote.

The erotic thriller clashed with ‘Dil Juunglee’ and ‘3 Storeys’ at the ticket window which also released on the same day. However, it crushed them easily when it came to the collection.

Directed by Vishal Pandya, the film also features Karan Wahi, Vivan Bhatena and Ihana Dhillon in key roles. Veteran actor Gulshan Grover also made his comeback with the film.

We reported yesterday that the ‘Hate Story IV’ opened lower than the previous two films in the franchise ‘Hate Story 2’ and ‘Hate Story 3’. The fourth series has been made at a budget of Rs 20 crore.

Meanwhile, the film is facing tough competition from ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ that has been doing a fab job at the ticket counter despite being in the third week of its release.

The third Saturday collections of ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ was Rs 4.12 crore.
