The Lady Superstar has completed 15 years in the film industry and is looking forward to a fruitful career still ahead. Nayanthara began her acting career with the Malayalam movie Manassinakkare. This family drama, directed by Sathyan Anthikkad and written by Ranjan Pramod, was released on December 25th in 2003 and since then there was no looking back for this gorgeous and talented actor. The film starred Sheela, Jayaram, in pivotal roles with Innocent, Oduvil Unnikrishnan, K. P. A. C. Lalitha, Siddique, Sukumari, Nedumudi Venu, and Mammukoya in supporting roles. The film’s score and soundtrack were composed byIlayaraja.

Nayan’s debut in the Tamil film industry was with the Sarath Kumar starrer Ayya in 2005. Since then, she has acted in several hit movies in different languages such as Ghajini, Sivakasi, Billa, Yaaradi Nee Mohini, etc.

Her last film release was Kolamavu Kokila in which she played the central role. The Lady Superstar Nayanthara is on a roll with a number of projects needing her attention and her recent film releases doing well at the box office. The actor is currently busy with the
Chiranjeevi starrer Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy which is a biopic on the legendary freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. She is shooting for her portions in this magnum opus that is being directed by Surendhar Reddy and produced by Ram Charan Teja under his banner Konidela Production Company.

While this film is in progress, reports have emerged that Nayanthara has bagged another biggie. She will be cast opposite Chiranjeevi once again in a film to be directed by Koratala Siva. The film will be directed by Koratala Siva who is basking in glory over his last release Bharat Ane Nenu turning out to be a blockbuster. The film will be bankrolled jointly by Ram Charan under his banner Konidela Production Company in association with Matinee Entertainment.

Nayan also has a slew of films such as Airaa, Kolaiyuthir Kaalam, Love Action Drama and Viswaasam in different stages of production. She has also inked the deal to star in the Vijay starrer that will be directed by Atlee.
